With the steady development of the supply-side structural reform of steel industry in China,high quality steel production capacity is constantly released.The Steel industry in China has achieved healthy development.The high quality steel is mainly used in special or professional occasions,so it is particularly important to identify high quality steel products to avoid mixed batch events.Every billet must be marked,and the contents of logo should be more comprehensive.A multi-flow bridge billet marking equipment has been designed according to the requirements of the factory and the conditions of the mill.According to the previous investigation and research group's of related experience and technology,the principle of plasma cutting has been adopted after comparing the advantages and disadvantages of different marking principies.According to the field conditions of the 8 flow billet at the same time,the bridge structure has been identified and the whole machine is made up.The size of the characters has been determined according to the size of billet and the surrounding condition of the billet.The process plan has been worked out,and the process flow chart has been drawn.Using the 3D software named UG to design,model and assemble parts,such as wrtting mechanism,main box,supporting frame and walking frame of the marking equipment.A detailed research and calculation has been made for the design of every part.And the best plan of every has been selected.The frame structure used in the writing mechanism can effectively improve the stability of the writing mechanism and it's better than the cantilever type and the box-type.The weight reduction design and technological optimization for the structure of the slider connecting frame have been carried out,which not only reduce the weight,but also facilitate the processing.Using the software named ANSYS Workbench to analyze the strength of the slider connecting frame,and the material is selected as aluminum alloy by comparing the stress and deformation.So the secondary weight reduction has been achieved successfully,which is positive to improve the mobility of the writing mechanism.The collision avoidance design of the writing mechanism solves the problem of the billet impacting the marking equipment,and reduces the risk of damage.And the vibration has been optimized,which reduces the amplitude and improves the marking effect.The layout schemes of stiffeners have been compared.And the best layout scheme is selected to enhance the marking effect.This multi flow bridge marking equipment occupies a small area,making full use of the space above the production line,minizing the impact on the original production line.This marking equipment is coordinated.And the marking efficience is high,and the characters is clear.The automation of the equipment of the factory has been improved.
