As a material widely used in the civil engineering industry,the durability of concrete materials has always been an important issue of concern.However,the focus of the academic community has long been studied from the durability of concrete itself,ignoring the specific structural types of concrete applications,and the influence of external factors such as the environment.It is these factors that often have a significant impact on the durability of concrete,especially the reinforced concrete structure.According to the actual needs of Baoshuhe Yellow River Bridge construction and post-conservation management,this paper conducts a research on the durability design and construction and maintenance strategy of concrete bridges in high and cold areas.Through environmental analyses,selections and proportion designs of concrete materials,initial crack control of concrete,prediction and analysis of service life of bridges,maintenance measures and durability implementation,this paper proposes the technical measures on selections and proportion designs of concrete materials in high and cold areas,control methods of initial cracks and the prediction and realization of long term use of concrete bridges during the periods of design,construction,operation and maintenance.The methods that ensure the long term durability of Baoshuhe Yellow River Bridge can provide useful reference for the design and construction of similar bridges.
