Development Of Small Wind Power Generation Simulation Platform

Abstract/Summary:
As a new energy with broad prospects,wind power plays an increasingly important role in production and life and has become a research hotspot in the field of new energy.At present,many laboratories do not have real wind field conditions,so the experimental research of wind power generation is difficult.In order to solve this problem,this paper designs and realizes a small wind power generation simulation platform with brushless dc motor as the prime mover,and designs the physical modeling,torque closed-loop control,serial port communication between upper and lower computers,and automatic propeller pitch adjustment of the wind turbine system.The relationship between the output torque of the wind turbine shaft and the wind speed,the radius of the fan blade,the pitch Angle,and the current speed of the wind turbine was studied.The theoretical torque of the wind turbine in various states was obtained.Then,the linear relationship between the current and torque was obtained by analyzing and fitting the parameters of the brushless dc motor,so as to realize the torque estimation of the existing unit.Hall sensor is used to calculate the speed,and the speed of the controller is given to control the existing unit so that its output characteristics meet the theoretical system model.In order to overcome the tuning problem caused by the sampling frequency of the traditional PID controller,a closed-loop fuzzy controller is designed,and the ideal control effect is obtained in the actual operation.The fan simulation system is divided into upper computer and lower computer,and the two communicate through serial port.The rules of serial port sending and receiving are defined to enable the serial port communication between upper and lower computers to be sent and received in the form of packet,the upper computer to monitor and control the operation of the lower computer,and the man-machine interface is established.By calling ActiveX,the function of Excel worksheet automatic reading and working data automatic writing is realized.For the problem of low torsion in the starting process of wind turbine,this design achieves the purpose of flexibly changing the fan torque by automatically adjusting the fan pitch Angle.The test results of the prototype show that the small wind power generation simulation platform set up in this project meets the expected requirements and provides a certain research basis for the wind power generation simulation system in the laboratory.
