At present,the domestic Internal combustion shunting locomotive usually use excitation synchronous generator as traction generators and asynchronous motor as traction motor.However,the excitation synchronous generator has complex structure and requires the excitation control system,the design and control of the excitation system are complicated,but the external characteristic of the permanent magnet synchronous generator is hard,the excitation control system can be avoided,so it can be used as traction generator on Internal combustion shunting locomotive.Compared with the asynchronous motor,permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)has the advantages of small volume,high efficiency and wide range of speed,it can be used as a traction motor on Internal combustion shunting locomotive.Based on the development of the permanent magnetic traction drive system of a small power and industrial and mining internal combustion shunting locomotive,this paper studies the resistance braking characteristics and control mode of the internal combustion shunting locomotive based on permanent magnet synchronous motor,and constructs a complete resistance braking system to make the locomotive have good resistance braking performance.In this paper,the internal combustion locomotive based on permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM),which is based on the main circuit structure of the existing traction drive system,is set up on Resistance brake chopper,Brake resistanceand the driving circuit is designed.,the main circuit of the resistance braking system is formed and the method of determining the parameters of the related devices is also studied.In order to make full use of the resistance braking capability of the locomotive,by the requirements of the locomotive operation and the adhesion conditions and the characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous traction motor to determine the resistance braking characteristic curve.The hardware design of the control system of the resistance braking system is carried out.Because the TCU module has included the hardware design of the motor control,the hardware design of the brake chopper is mainly designed.TMS320F28335 is selected as the core processor,the voltage and current detection circuit,Can communication circuit,and PWM optical fiber drive control circuit are designed.The control strategy of the resistance braking is simulated,the hysteresis control strategy is adopted for the overvoltage protection chopper circuit,direct duty cycle control strategy,the PI control strategy and the feedforward +PI control strategy are used to simulate the resistance braking chopper circuit respectively,and the characteristics of the control strategy are analyzed,and the application of direct duty cycle control strategy is determined.The control of the resistance brake chopper by the software.,on these basis,the control system of the resistance braking system is designed,the electrical braking function is added in the main program of the TCU controlled motor controller,and the control program of the resistance brake chopper is completed,andthe resistance braking characteristic is tested on the test stand of the enterprise.The experimental results show that control strategy and design control circuit can meet the requirements of resistance braking characteristic control in this paper.
