With the development of minimally invasive in modem surgery,endoscopy has become the necessary medical device that curing the system disease,such as respiratory,digestive and urinary etc.However,it has been found that early diseases are overlooked and tumors still remain in conventional white light endoscopic surgery.In order to solve the above problems,foreign advanced products enhance the lesion by special image enhancement algorithms,but domestic products are still lacking in this function.Therefore,the research of the novel endoscope imaging technology is very important.To solve the above problems,the research of the imaging enhancement algorithms of the High-Definition medical electronic endoscope becomes the purpose of this paper.The enhancement algorithm including three aspects:detail enhancement,illumination enhancement,vessel contrast enhancement.This paper realized the classical and the mainstream algorithms when selecting the algorithm of detail enhancement and illumination.Balancing the effect of enhancement index and the speed of algorithm index,the image enhancement algorithms for high definition electronic gastroscope which is developed independently by laboratory.Firstly,the color image is converted to gray image in this paper,and separating the luminance component into an illumination layer which having a high dynamic range and a detail layer including detail information of image through guided filter.Then,this paper adds a gain to each pixel of the detail image and uses AINDANE algorithms to compressing dynamic range.Finally,detail enhanced image and illumination enhanced image are add to generating an enhanced image with color restore.As for vessel contrast algorithm,this paper present a contrast algorithm base on spectral transformation according to optic absorption property of oxygenated haemoglobin.Through reducing the dominant diffuse red spectral reflection and increasing the blue and green spectral,the contrast of capillaries and vessels are highlighted.In order to comprehensive evaluating the effect of enhancement method proposed above,this paper puts forward detail variance-background variance objection index and two different contrast enhancement evaluation index which are tone distance and weber law evaluation index.For evaluating the enhancement algorithm,the algorithm has been applied to number of images captured under endoscope.Both the evaluation of subjective and objective indicators shows significant enhancement.Moreover,comparing to other endoscopic imaging technology,the method of this paper performs better in enhancement.
