With the construction and operation of large wind power bases in China,a series of difficulties have arisen in wind power grid integration due to the constraints of transmission capacity,load scale and fluctuation of wind power itself.In particular,due to the limited heating load of thermal power units during winter heating,the problem of air release in the “Three-North region” of China has become increasingly serious.In the past five years,the proportion of wind power curtailment in these areas has exceeded 97%.Whether the problem of air release during the winter heating period in the “Three-North region” can be properly solved is directly related to the energy structure adjustment,as well as the implementation and promotion of energy conservation and emission reduction policies of China.The main reasons for wind power curtailment in the “Three-North region” include the imbalance between wind power and conventional power supply operation characteristics,the inconsistency with the regulation characteristics of the connected power grid,and the mismatch between the characteristics of the electric load level and other “source-network-load” contradiction.From the perspective of the load side,this paper studies the method of using wind power heating mode to alleviate a large amount of wind power curtailment in the “Three-North region”.First of all,the in-depth analysis of the principle of abandoned wind based on regenerative electric boilers and the “electric-thermal time shift characteristics” is carried out.Based on the measured data of wind power in a certain province in Northeast China,the characteristics of wind power curtailment and its correlation with load in the region are analyzed,and then the practical feasibility of using the wind power heating to eliminate the abandoned wind in the “Three North” area is verified.And the operation strategy of the regenerative electric boiler is determined.Secondly,the mathematical modeling of the combined scheme of wind power accommodation heating is studied,and the combined scheme of wind power accommodation heating as well as the method of selecting different heating schemes of wind power accommodation according to their own needs is given.Taking the actual wind data of a city-level wind farm in Northeast China as an example,the economy of the two heating schemes is analyzed and compared with the conventional heating scheme.Finally,the critical electricity price method is used to evaluate whether the wind power heating scheme is more economical than the conventional heating scheme.From the perspective of supply and demand in the market,a real-time price decision model for wind power curtailment is established based on the size and time distribution of wind power curtailment.On this basis,the wind power heating response model is constructed with the minimum heating cost as the objective function.By optimizing the heating operation mode of regenerative electric boiler,the purpose of large-scale wind power accommodation is realized.The model is solved by CPLEX software,and four heating scenes are selected to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method and the model by comparing the wind power accommodation effect and heating cost.
