The city is built with water,people live in the water,the water system maintains the continuation of life,and is implicated in the lifeline of the city.However,with the rapid advancement of urbanization,people are wasting and transforming natural resources,occupying the lake.The water body,the straightening and hardening of the shoreline,the discharge of pollutants into the river and other activities led to the reduction of urban water area,the loss of biological habitat,the loss of regional cultural characteristics of the urban water system landscape,and the urban water ecological balance was broken.With the destruction of the natural environment of the old city,population,economy,society and other issues,in order to cope with and ease the pressure of the old city,the construction of a new city will be an inevitable trend.At present,the problems of the water system in the old city are overlapped.The advantages and disadvantages of the development of the urban water system planning are summarized.On the basis of this,it is an important topic to study the modern urban water system planning system.The exploration of urban water system planning methods is different.At present,scholars mainly focus on sponge city,urban double repair,water culture and water landscape construction.However,there are few related studies and literatures on urban water system planning from the perspective of ecological security.With the continuous improvement and improvement of the ecological security pattern theory and construction methods,it will provide a new theoretical direction for the planning of the urban new district water system.This paper first introduces the concept of urban ecological civilization construction in China,the development trend of urban new districts and the current background of urban water ecological environment,and clarifies the research objects and related concepts.Through the literature review and field research and other research methods,the development history of urban water system planning at home and abroad was compared and summarized,and several cases were used to deeply understand the problems faced by China’s urban water system planning,and at the same time,the problem was deeply reflected.Through the theory and model research method,the characteristics of the new urban water system and the factors affecting its planning are analyzed.The core content and technical analysis process of the ecological security pattern are enumerated.The urban water is taken as the core element,and the ecological security pattern is proposed.Water system planning strategy related to the new urban area.Based on the example of the water system planning in the core area of Luoyang New District of Luoyang City,the GIS software was used to focus on the water security pattern,biosafety pattern,recreation safety pattern and cultural heritage landscape safety pattern.The study area is divided into three safety patterns: high,medium and low.Based on the analysis results,the corresponding water system planning strategies for the core area of Luonan New Area are proposed.It emphasizes the importance of water system planning for urban stormwater security,biodiversity,human recreation,inheritance of heritage and culture,and encourages the new urban water system to create a new urban landscape based on maintaining a balanced water ecosystem.Its role in water creates a sustainable society in which people and nature reciprocate and live in harmony.
