With the rapid development of modern social science and technology,time synchronization technology plays an indispensable role in our daily lives,especially in areas such as communications navigation,timing and punctuality.In order to meet the conditions of high reliability,high accuracy,high speed,and high efficiency in the transmission of large-capacity information,the accuracy required to time synchronization is also stricter.Therefore,there is an urgent need to propose new precision time synchronization technologies.Based on the fundamental theories of the greatest common factor frequency,the least common multiple cycle and the quantized phase shift resolution,this paper analyzes the phase change relationship between the periodic signals and the variation of phase group characteristics,and proposes a precision time synchronization technology based on phase coincidence detection.The system designed in this paper adopts a digital processing method to collect the phase coincidence pulse cluster information which is obtained by the phase comparison between the two periodic signals,and the data obtained after processing the coincidence pulse information is fit to the curve.The slope value is used as the conversion coefficient to obtain the conversion relationship between the coincidence pulse amplitude and the phase fine quantization.By comparing the phase difference of the signals with different frequency deviations,the relationship between different frequency deviations,quantization phase shift resolutions and conversions are established.And the reference of measurement comparison can be obtained.The measurement of the quantitative phase shift resolution is realized,and thus the time synchronization of the two periodic signals is achieved.At the same time,the system obtains the phase comparison relationship between the signals of the other two frequencies through the phase coincidence detection technology.After digital processing,the slope value of the fitted curve is obtained and compared with the established benchmark.In this paper,the quantization phase shift resolution between these two signals is calculated,and the measurement results are analyzed and compared.The experimental results show that the system realizes the time comparison measurement between any two periodic frequency signals,and the measurement resolution reaches picoseconds,which is consistent with the prediction results.
