As a typical application of the Internet of things,smart home system has become an important research hotspot.At present,most of smart home systems need special controllers,which seriously affect the extensibility and user experience of smart home system.Meanwhile,the existing smart home system just meets the users’ basic needs,but has not done in-depth research on the low-power performance of equipment and the robustness of the system.With a view to the function demand and performance optimization of smart home system,this thesis puts forward a novel network scheme based on BLE wireless communication technology.This thesis mainly includes the design of BLE Mesh network and the design BLE Mesh nodes,the research contents mainly include: 1.On the design of BLE Mesh network,this thesis analyzes the problems of “single structure” of existing wireless Mesh network,and puts forward a kind of heterogeneous ultra-low consumption Mesh topology structure,which effectively extended the service life of the “energy-limited” node.Meanwhile,in order to prevent "news implosion",combined with the proposed heterogeneous Mesh network,this thesis proposes an enhanced flood routing protocol(EFP)based on the Flooding routing protocol,and emulate EFP by dedicated network simulator NS-2.Finally,a set of data format,data transmission mode and addressing scheme of BLE 4.0 standard protocol is proposed to further optimize BLE Mesh network performance.2.BLE Mesh node design mainly includes hardware and software design of BLE device,and software design of intelligent controller.In terms of BLE devices hardware design,This thesis make a comprehensive analysis of the function,cost,energy conservation,environmental protection and reliability system,select a company’ BLE chip as the core components this system,and select the universal and modular equipment to complete the design of the peripheral device in the control system.In terms of BLE devices software design,DAPA algorithm is proposed to further reduce power consumption of “energy-limited” node.The algorithm can adjust the transmitting power dynamically according to the current communication quality of the BLE node,and reduce the power consumption in the case of ensuring the good communication of the node.Finally,based on the Android Studio development platform,this thesis designed the mobile phone APP which is compatible with this program.3.The control function of BLE Mesh network node and the communication function of BLE Mesh network are tested.The results show that the BLE Mesh network communicates well,it can realize the network establishment and network control function through any intelligent mobile phone,meet the requirement of the smart home system.Meanwhile,the performance of the whole system is verified and analyzed from the aspects of robustness and low power consumption.The test results show that,compared with existing bluetooth devices,the BLE equipment using DAPA algorithm can save 13.6% power consumption.At the same time,compared with the existing smart home control system,the BLE Mesh network designed in this thesis can achieve more flexible control and better robustness.
