With the advancement of the country's urbanization process and the gradual implementation of the 13th Five-Year Plan,the need to build a smart city based on the Internet of Things is becoming more and more urgent,and applications and products such as smart home and smart appliances have emerged as the times require.In the use of residents' four meters(water meter,electricity meter,heat meter and gas meter),residents' living space requirements for safety,comfort and privacy are also getting higher and higher.Intelligent instrument system based on Internet of Things communication technology has outstanding advantages in measuring data transmission,remote control and charge management,which can meet residents'requirements for living private space and meet the needs of intelligent development.Therefore,the design and implementation of intelligent gas meter system based on Internet of Things communication technology has important theoretical significance and practical value.This topic uses the Internet of Things technology to construct the sensing layer,network layer and application layer to design and implement the intelligent gas meter system,realizes data remote transmission and remote control through SMS mechanism provided by GSM,uses the upper computer software to manage the terminal gas meter,realizes the intelligent gas meter application system with simple operation and maintenance,and solves the inherent problems of meter reading,remote control,poor security,etc.The research results of this topic establish the connection between the terminal meter and the whole energy supply system,ensure the information exchange between the basic data and the system,realize the grid management of the whole energy supply system,and tap the huge potential of the system.The main work of this study includes the following contents:1)In this paper,an intelligent gas meter system based on the short message service mechanism of the global mobile communication system is set up,which combines remote communication,measurement reading,data analysis and command issuing organically.Using the network architecture provided by GSM and the wireless two-way communication mechanism provided by SMS,the end equipment(gas meter)of the gas system is connected to the whole energy supply system,and data are shared synchronously from the top to the end of energy,providing a data basis for the analysis of big data of the system.2)According to the communication principle of the short message service mechanism in the global mobile communication system,this paper establishes a remote communication system.The upper computer software compiled establishes a communication mechanism with China Mobile SMS Center through TCP/IP protocol,and the gas meter uses GSM module to send and receive information with SMS Center.The communication mechanism adopted in this design has stable performance and two-way communication,which can ensure the timeliness and reliability of data(instructions)transmission and realize a fast and accurate remote control scheme.3)This system is designed based on the PIC series of micro-chips in the United States and GSM communication module of China Mobile Internet of Things.Each intelligent gas meter sets a unique meter address,which corresponds to the mobile phone number of the GSM module one by one,and the GSM module carries out power-on registration network to realize the correspondence between the local phone number and the information access code of the SMS center and realize the remote communication between the upper computer and the terminal meter.The software of the lower computer is written in C language and designed with "state machine"mechanism and "time slice" architecture,which provides operation mechanism for every possible event,prevents the system from "dead" state and greatly improves the operation efficiency of the system.The communication between upper computer and SMS gateway adopts the data protocol provided by SMS gateway of China Mobile Internet of Things and uses TCP/IP to communicate.SMS Gateway Data Protocol and TCP/IP are equivalent to SMS Modem in the traditional sense.4)This intelligent gas meter system has been tested for remote control using the SMS gateway of China Mobile Internet of Things.The comparison test was carried out from four aspects:the instructions issued by the upper computer,the data intercepted by the gateway,the data monitored by the lower computer serial port,and the execution results of the gas meter.It was verified that the Internet of Things intelligent gas meter system based on the Internet of Things communication technology can realize the reliability and real-time performance of the functions of remote on-off valve,remote recharge reading and low-power alarm notification to the upper computer,and achieved the expected design expectations.
