| This paper studies the realization of vehicle navigation system based on GSM, and discusses some key problems concretely: 1.how to construct communication system between vehicles and monitoring center, the paper concentrates on process and delay of utilizing GSM Short Message Service to transmit GPS data; 2. aiming at how to improve the precision of GPS, the paper brings forward economical Inverted Differential technology;3. to get continuous positioning data, Dead Recon hardware design and simulation result is given; 4. how to embed electronic maps in intelligent navigation system; 5. how to debug the whole system. Combined with certain project, the hardware structure, functional modules of car-carried navigation system are given, and ideas of software development are also described here. At last, the paper puts forward embedded system version of car-carried automatic navigation system and an improved version of passive navigation system. |
