In recent years,information technology in the construction industry has become an unstoppable new trend.With the rapid development of mobile hardware and intelligent systems,portable and powerful mobile devices are constantly changing people’s lives,and their applications are gradually expanding into engineering.Displaying three-dimensional building models on mobile devices has become a favorite way for technicians.However,the three-dimensional building model is very bulky,not only complex,but also associated with a huge amount of data,which is in contradiction with the limited hardware resources of mobile devices.How to present the huge and jumbled information of building models with less resources has become a thorny problem.In this paper,the three-dimensional model of Autodesk Review software is used as the basic data model.Lightweight model with popular computer programming language,and use WebGL-enabled browsers such as Google,IE11,Firefox,Safari to display it,and binding components in lightweight models to databases.Firstly,summarize the characteristics of three-dimensional model display,and briefly introduce the three-dimensional model rendering of PC and mobile terminals.The advantages and disadvantages of B/S architecture and C/S architecture in presenting building models are discussed.Summarize the common data between PC and mobile models.Secondly,summarize the technical route of lightweight model,select the route and document format suitable for building model.This paper briefly introduces the basic tools needed and the related technical background.The data structure of RVT file and JSON file is explained in detail,and the idea of lightweight algorithm is put forward.Finally,for lightweight models,model display and database binding are performed.The characteristics of storage and extraction of building model information from different kinds of databases are summarized in detail.
