In recent years,the development of China's economic construction has been advancing by leaps and bounds.At the same time,a series of problems caused by it have emerged in succession such as urban traffic congestion,frequent traffic accidents and serious environmental pollution,etc.As an effective means to alleviate urban traffic problems,urban public transport will directly affect the sustainable and healthy development of the whole city.However,the traditional operation mode of the public transportation and service level have been unable to meet people's travel demand any more,and the intelligence of public transport system has become an inevitable trend of urban traffic development.Most closely associated with the public in APTS(Advance Public Transportation System),the electronic bus-board provides passengers with service information to give passengers the most intuitive feelings.It not only has a positive effect on improving the service level of the public transportation and passenger satisfaction,but also can provide necessary data for public transport management department in order to realize the scientific allocation of public transport resources.Based on looking through a large amount of references,the paper has an in-depth understanding of the development of intelligent public transportation and electronic bus-board at home and abroad.And in view of the insufficiency of the traditional bus-board and emerging electronic bus-board in the process of practical application,the research and design of electronic bus-board supported by ZigBee wireless communication technology are proposed from the perspective of function realization and cost saving.The system uses the ZigBee network as the data transmission network,and the ARM9 chip S3C2440A of Samsung company and CC2530 ZigBee chip of TI company are used to complete the data communication between the bus and the electronic bus-board,as well as between the electronic bus-board.The master control unit S3C2440A carries on the corresponding analysis and the processing to the received information data,finally publishes the public transport information to the travel passenger in real time through the LED screen.In addition,on the basis of in-depth analysis of the existing vehicle positioning technology,this paper analyzes and compares the typical localization algorithms applied to WSN.Combining with the characteristics of public transportation operating environment and the positioning requirements of public transport vehicles,the RSSI-based wireless sensor positioning algorithm is used.Moreover the improved algorithm is given on the basis of existing models and algorithms.Finally,using Matlab tool for simulation experiments,the results show that the improved RSSI bus positioning algorithm not only has a significant improvement in positioning accuracy,but also has an improved stability.Applying ZigBee technology to intelligent public transportation networks,making full use of its advantages in information collection and transmission,researching and designing the electronic bus-board in line with public needs and effective bus positioning methods are not only provides a brand-new development direction for APTS and electronic bus-board,but also has a certain significance for the development of intelligent public transport,improving public transport management and service quality.
