Urban biodiversity is closely related to the urban human settlement environment and sustainable development. However, with the acceleration of urbanization, the urban biodiversity is in danger of drastically decreasing, and the residential green space is one of the important components of the urban green space.Plant species diversity can greatly affect the urban ecological environment.Residential areas are the basic facilities for daily living of urban residents, and they are widely distributed and large in number. Therefore, residential green spaces are not only an important component of urban green space systems, but also play an extremely important role in urban ecological construction. They provide residents with accommodation, culture, etc. In terms of ecological services,it can exert more direct and even greater ecological benefits than urban parks, country parks, and outskirts of forestsBased on the previous collection of data and sample surveys,43 residential areas were invested to study the plant diversity with classifying and sampling methods in Taiyuan.this paper included plant resources and species composition in residential areas in Taiyuan, and the correlation between the social economic factors that affect it and its plant diversity using the SPSS to analyze it.The research on the diversity of plant diversity and the relationship with social economic factors can provide a certain theoretical basis and basic data and helpful reference suggestions for the construction of residential plant landscapes and ecological environments, and even the planning and construction of urban ecological greenbelts and the conservation and utilization of urban biodiversity.Research indicates[1]There are 113 species of woody plants in residential greenbelts in Taiyuan, belonging to 38 families and 63 genera.Trees:shrubs ?1.76:l,deciduous plants:evergreen plants=4.38:1;(2)The species of Rosaceae,Oleaceae and Pinaceae were the most abundant, accounting for 24.8%,8.8%and 7.1%respectively;(3)In terms of frequency, the top five arboreal species are Sophora japonica Linn..,Euonymus maackii,Sophora japonica Linn.var.japonica f.pendula Hort,Malus× micromalus Makino,Pinus tabulaeformis Carr.,shrubs are Euonymus kiautschovicus,Syringa oblata Lindl.,Forsythia suspensa(Thunb.)Vahl,etc.Sophora japonica Linn.and Euonymus kiautschovicus is dominant species, and the frequency of application of most of the plants was concentrated between 1%and 20%.In terms of the plant diversity index studied, trees>shrubs as a whole;(4)In terms of the diversity index in the six jurisdictions,The comprehensive diversity index of Xiaodian and Xinghualing is relatively high, while Jiancaoping is the lowest;(5)At different built-up periods, plant diversity was closely related to the time of completion.Species richness and evenness of woody plants showed an increasing trend;(6)Correlation analysis of plant diversity in residential greenbelts and their socioeconomic factors:The factors associated with the richness S are total area and construction time. The factors related to the diversity index H' are related to the total area and construction time. The area of the factor green area is significantly related.Factors that are closely related to the tree evenness J are construction time, and there is a significant correlation between factor volume rate, green space rate, green area, and total area.Shrubs have no significant correlation with these factors.
