As a member of the big family of modern testing instruments,spectrometer offers a new and special way for composition analysis and detection of substances.Due to its own advantages,such as,fastdetection and testing results of high reliability,good repeatability,etc.,it has been widely applied in various fields of modern production and living.But the traditional spectrometer will exist some problems in the practical application,such as the volume is too large,combined with computer technology is not quite close together,because of the different design basis and technical limitations,so accuracy of measurement remains to be further improved.The new generation of spectrometers is easy to solve the previous problem,because the detector is the array CCD,and a combination of modern electronic technology has been used,which provides the larger development space for the further application of spectrometer.A new type of design idea is proposed in this paper which uses CCD as the sensor semiconductor devices,and based on the modern optics technology and computer technology.This paper first introduces the development of the direct reading spectrometer at home and abroad and application principle.Then explore the core light sensor of the new spectrometer,which uses a semiconductor element.Finally,the embedded computer system adopted ARM as the core is introduced,thus forming an optical detection system,which combined with ILX554B.This paper first introduces the development history and background of the spectrometer,some of the basic theory of optical devices is introduced,and the working principle of CCD and the basic principle of optical image sensor are presented.This paper designed a miniaturized direct reading spectrometer system based on the optical CCD component and ILX554B component,and uses embedded ARM as a group to the processing unit to complete the miniaturization design of spectrometer,through a combination of modern optical technology and computer technology.This article also designed the hardware and software framework of the direct reading spectrometer,described the structure of the circuit board,connection type,and software implementation of the upper machine and the lower machine.Through the research and comparison of various spectral signal analysis methods,combining with the practical applications,and put forward the method of quantitative spectral analysis.To verify its effect,the combination of hardware and software has been ensured.
