Landscape Design Of Coastal City Site Based On Low-impact Development Theory

In modern times,most of countries have experienced secondary disasters which caused by rapid urbanization,such as urban floods,water shortages,and water pollution.Compared with inland cities,coastal cities confront more complicated rain and flood problems.In the process of landscape design,landscape elements which including soil,plants,water bodies and structures,are all affected by ocean climate and geographic location.At present,both in theory and practice research,the study on the low-impact development landscape design of costal cities in China is still scarce,and it is lack of a series of complete theoretical and designing system.Initially,in order to figure out the content and the method of research,this paper summarize the current situation of the rainwater management in China and foreign countries.Then from the perspective of site design,it summarizes and extracts the current low-impact development theory,this laid the foundation of landscape design system in coastal cities which based on low-impact development.According to in-depth analysis of the excellent cases of landscape design in coastal cities,it provides the landscape designing key points of costal cities which combined with low-development impacts.Additionally,it built the designing system of costal cities,set the goals and principles of rainwater landscape design in costal cities and proposed designing procedures of site rainwater landscape.This paper combines the factors of special geographic location,climate characteristics,site landscape and refers to the problems of site ecosystem,it supplies optimized tactics of soil,vegetation,water and architecture designing,which provides theories and guidance of low-impact landscape designing and implementation in costal cities.Finally,the study applied the method to the design of rainwater landscape in Zhuhai City,combined theory with practice and demonstrate theory with specific practices.
