With the advance of the 4.0 era of the industrial revolution,the increasing level of industrial automation drives the production lines of many industries to join the ranks of automation technology.Wire rod can be seen everywhere in our life,widely used,it is very necessary to select high-quality and suitable for actual use of wire rod,and steel industry occupies the lifeline of national economy.The purpose of the diameter measurement system is to measure the diameter of high-speed wire rod in rolling process.The accuracy of the system is judged by the diameter measurement,and the overall design of the system is adjusted accordingly.On this basis,follow-up screening is made.The key to measuring wire diameter lies in the design of measuring system.The aim of this paper is to design a CCD wire diameter measuring system based on machine vision.The concept of machine vision was first put forward by the United States from the research of robots.Up to now,we have mastered the core technology and essentials of machine vision abroad.In the early 21st century,the increasingly perfect automation technology,in such a market environment,machine vision is introduced to China.Instead of traditional manual measurement and monitoring,it not only saves manpower cost,but also evades certain risks in some high-risk industrial chains.At present,machine vision is well used not only in precision mechanical measurement,but also in food,medical,aerospace,agriculture,automobile and so on.Machine vision measurement is a kind of non-contact measurement method,which is different from the traditional direct measurement method.This method does not directly contact with the measured object,avoids the friction damage of the measuring system to the measured object,and maximizes the measurement error.The design of optical system is very important in the process of vision measurement.The selection of light source,lens and image sensor determines the performance of the whole system.In this experiment,a great deal of effort was devoted to the search for lens and image sensor.Finally,we realized the need to use large caliber double telecentric lens and CCD image sensor.Machine vision-based diameter measurement method is widely used because of its high efficiency,high precision,low cost and low risk.In this paper,the design of diameter measurement system for high-speed wire rod is completed in the following aspects:1)The application and research situation of diameter measurement system at home and abroad are introduced,and the background significance of research and design of diameter measurement system for wire rod is understood.Referring to the literature,this paper analyzes the application scene of the system at home and abroad,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the existing equipment schemes,and analyzes the difference between the contact diameter measurement and the non-contact diameter measurement,and explains the reason and significance of the use of non-contact diameter measurement in this subject.2)The concept,application,advantages and disadvantages of machine vision are described in detail.3)Explaining the working principle and content of the diameter measurement system based on machine vision,and the hardware components of the system in detail,even and why LED backlight,array image sensor,and large caliber telecentric lens are selected.Introducing the final hope of building the system design is what.4)After the hardware structure matching is completed,the image will be acquired,and the image will appear noise,fuzzy and so on,which need to be preprocessed to explore the origin of noise and the filtering method of noise,and so on.The images from the tested objects on the experimental platform are processed by Matlab software algorithm,and the related data are analyzed and summarized. |
