Research On The Space Of Huizhou Covered Bridges Based On Architectural Typology

Since 2005,China has successively promulgated strategies and policies such as"beautiful villages","beautiful China" and "rural rejuvenation".The issue of rural construction has received more and more attention.In the process of vigorously developing rural construction,some unhealthy phenomena have arisen,such as the replicating construction method,which leads to the loss of individual differences in buildings;blindly copying the planning methods and architectural forms of other areas,resulting in the villages being too similar.These have made the problem of"rural homogenization" more serious.This thesis takes Huizhou Covered Bridge as the research object,and takes Wang Shu’s localized architectural typology as the theoretical basis,and then translates.and promotes his thoughts to adapt to the space research of Huizhou covered bridges.Based on a large number of investigations on Huizhou covered bridges and the villages where they are located,this thesis analyzes and interprets the architectural type of Huizhou Covered Bridge from the three levels of constituent elements,single space and environmental relationship,trying to find ways to improve the problem of"rural homogenization" and put forward the prospects for the arpplication and development of the space type of Huizhou Covered Bridge.
