Outdoor Parent-child Interaction Space Design Research Based On Behavioral Psychology

The family is the cell of the society,and the harmony of the family is the foundation of the social harmony.A warm family environment and a harmonious intergenerational relationship have a huge impact on the physical and mental growth of the next generation.After the implementation of the comprehensive two child policy,there is a new round of baby boom.How to coordinate the intergenerational interaction,in especial the interaction between parents and children,is particularly important in the current family relationship.Most of the parents in the new era have higher education and better economic foundation,and they also put forward higher requirements for the interaction space of parents and children.However,there is little space for parent-child interaction at present.Mostly in the form of children's playground,parent-child activities usually around the "child" demand,parents can hardly participate in the form of parent-child interaction,parent-child interaction quality needs to be improved.This paper based on the perspective of behavioral psychology,expanding the scope of parent child interaction space to outdoor places.Based on three ways of literature research,current situation investigation and behavior classification,we should consider the interaction needs of "parent" and "son" in the same status.The behavioral and psychological characteristics of parent-child families in different age,gender and intergenerational population were studied,and applied to the actual outdoor parent child interaction space design.Firstly,the related theories of behavioral psychology and parent-child interaction space design are systematically elaborated.The types and influencing factors of parent child interaction are discussed,and the parent child interaction space is classified according to the spatial environment and interaction form.In this paper,4 typical outdoor activities in Nanjing are investigated.Through questionnaire survey and interview,the relationship between parents and families and the behavioral psychological characteristics of the parents and children are analyzed.The problems in the interaction space of the parents and children in the theme park,the comprehensive park,the residential area and the commercial pedestrian street are summed up and the concerns in the future design are discussed.Secondly,the theory and research results are combined to summarize the principles and spatial elements of outdoor parent-child interaction space design,and classify the different types of parent and child interaction subject and interactive experience,and summarize the main points of space design guided by the corresponding interactive behavior mode.Finally,based on the above research,taking the core area of parent-child activities in Xuanwu Lake,Lovers' Garden as the experimental design.
