As the automobile field develop very fast,currently the automobile have the high capacity and the market in China is full of competition.The profit level is going down while the cost is increasing,the automobile component is not easy to survive in this market competition.To get better development in the market,Optimize the process and eliminate the waste through Lean production principle is the best choice.Sichuan plant of Group L is a new factory,mainly for wiring harness manufacturing.Currently there are many issues happened when the new plant put into production,need to improve the manufacturing process to keep the market competition.In this thesis,consider that this Sichuan plant is a new plant,looks like it can keep basic running through normal process of Group L.But we found that there are still many issues when working,including the history issue which not solve yet,layout difference,factory construction impact.We plan to improve it through the lean production principle,to improve and solve the manufacturing issue,need to optimize the material pulling system to make the material flow more reasonable,optimize the layout to make the material route as short as possible,optimize UIPS production system to improve the process management and use Andon system to enhance the information flow on site.So that we can reduce the labor cost,improve the labor efficiency,improve the information flow in workshop and lower the WIP inventory,and finally generate the better manufacturing mode to adapt the new plant and market requirement.And reduce the operation cost,improve the operation efficiency and core competency of the new plant.
