With the development of energy Internet,the research on cloud computing and big data analysis technology has been promoted.Electric power enterprises have studied and tried in the field of power dispatching automation through the new IT technology,such as cloud computing and big data.The application of cloud computing virtualization technology in the field of power dispatching automation is still in the initial stage.This paper summarizes the existing literature,studies the cloud computing virtualization technology in the power dispatching automation system,and puts forward the theory and application methods suitable for the current smart grid scheduling system to make the virtual technology of the cloud computing.The technology can be better utilized in the field of power dispatching automation.To achieve the "resource virtualization,data standardization,application service" regulation and control technology support system requirements.The main work of this paper is to analyze the application potential of virtualization technology in smart grid dispatching support system based on the characteristics of smart grid dispatching system.The second step is to build a test system to compare and optimize the virtualization software with high performance,and carry out detailed performance analysis.The third step builds the test environment on the platform of the intelligent scheduling technology support system(D5000),and verifies the feasibility and superiority of the virtualization technology in the real-time dispatching automation business.The fourth step is to further analyze the key technologies of distributed SCADA in virtualization environment.The fifth step,taking East China power control sub center server scale as an example,compares and analyses the daily operation cost of hardware,software and automation equipment,and concludes that the implementation of virtualization technology can improve the economic efficiency of the system.Based on the actual situation of the East China regulation and control sub center,this paper implements the virtualization technology in the actual field environment.Through full theoretical basis and formulating detailed system construction scheme,the feasibility and advanced nature of the new intelligent power grid dispatching automation system based on virtualization technology are proved,and a new way of thinking for the future development of power system production is provided.
