With the continuous rapid development of social economy in our country,the concept of ‘strong and smart grid'which is put forward by the power system has been widely popularized and recognized by the society.The key technology of operation and maintenance in smart substation is to record and analyze the information.The recording technology of traditional hard contact signal analysis has been difficult to meet the work of current intelligent information substation in high-tech era.Therefore,the ‘strong and smart grid' based on information technology has began to carry out intelligent monitoring through the strong power grid,gradually transforming the monitoring into intelligent means,transforming the main monitoring objects into subsystems in the monitoring process,effectively realizing the intelligent monitoring process.In this paper,based on the design principles and communication technology and management requirements of intelligent substation communication system in Inner Mongolia,the composition and characteristics of intelligent substation communication system was analyzed by taking the ecological substation,Xinguang substation and Yongle substation of Inner Mongolia as examples.The intelligent substation communication system is mainly composed of integrated monitoring system,power transmission and transformation equipment status monitoring,auxiliary equipment,clock synchronization and metering device.Based on the monitoring host and communication gateway machine,data collection and analysis of intelligent substation operation and equipment working status are realized.And the intelligent substation communication system completes the real-time data transmission and operation data browsing service by means of the direct mining direct delivery method.Based on the integrated application server and power transmission and transformation equipment status monitoring and auxiliary equipment,data collection,analysis,processing,display and storage of power,metering,fire protection and environmental detection are realized.And through the firewall to complete information transmission,lookup and remote browsing from the data server.The station control layer network uses the MMS,GOOSE and SNTP synchronization to realize the communication between the intra-layer and inter-layer devices and the transmission of MMS messages and GOOSE messages.The interval layer network uses 100 Mbps speed single star Ethernet network to realize inter-layer and intra-layer device communication and MMS message transmission.The process layer network adopts the single star network of SV network and GOOSE network to realize bus line protection,fault recording,network analysis and cross-interval information transmission as well as GOOSE message and SV message transmission.Finally,combined with the faults and problems in the communication system of Inner Mongolia Mei Ligeng smart substation,the problems of reaction time,operation and maintenance complexity,high network dependence and lack of perfect system specifications of intelligent substation communication system are analyzed in detail,and the problems are put forward in a targeted manner.The solution and the future development direction of intelligent substation communication system provide a reference and reference for the development,management and problem solving of intelligent substation communication system in China.The vigorous popularization of intelligent substations in China indicates that China has gradually made breakthroughs in innovation from traditional substation equipment management mode to intelligent substation communication technology,providing a reliable modern technology platform for the safe and stable operation of substation equipment in China,creating a foundation for China's smart grid construction projects.
