Located in northern China,Inner Mongolia belongs to the severe cold region in the thermal partition.Dwellings here have a heating period lasts for 6 to 8 months which brings enormous heating energy consumption.Thus,knowing the actual dwellings heating situation and exploring energy efficiency means can produce huge implication.Based on this fact,5 cities 41 residential buildings had been selected to do the heating research.Field research and questionnaire survey were conducted during the research.It turned out that quality regulation and grading variable flow quality regulation are two main heating regulation methods.Large flow rate and small temperature is common in the heating pipe network.Heating energy consumption varies sharply during the sample buildings and generally its value is high,by comparison,new residential building has the lowest heating energy consumption which is 18.72W/m~2.Indoor temperature is higher than 18°C commonly,and combing people's satisfaction of the heating effect,it's found that people here is prefer warmer indoor environment.By analyzing the characteristics of sample buildings,11 influencing factors about the building heating energy consumption are extracted,including the HDD,shape coefficient of building,area,floor number,type of window frame,envelope thermal insulation,heating regulation method,position of the building in the pipe network,existence of the street store.Using the gray correlation analysis,it's found that except for the HDD,ontological attributes of residential buildings are the principal factors for the heating energy consumption.Applied the clustering method,the paper divides the sample buildings which is located in the severe cold area C into two clusters,their heating energy consumption benchmarks are 10.10W/m~2,16.78W/m~2.Finally,the way of using the heating energy consumption benchmarks to achieve energy conservation is explored.
