With the rapid growth of China's economy,railway development has entered the age of high speed electrification.Traction transformer as the important equipment for railway substation,directly affect the normal operation of the electric railway,so the requirements of reliability,technical economic index and environmental should be higher than common power transformers.In order to adapt to the national industrial policies and enterprise development,this thesis is studied the railway traction transformer QYD-31500/220 and achieved the following results:First,the leakage magnetic field of the transformer is analyzed,and the reasonable simplification and modeling of the QYD-31500/220 railway traction transformer are made.The finite element analysis software MagNet is used to analyze and calculate the leakage magnetic field energy,the leakage magnetic field and the total loss density distribution under different operation modes,and verify that the leakage magnetic field design of the transformer is reasonable.Second,the common calculation methods of short-circuit impedance are studied,and the short-circuit impedance of QYD-31500/220 traction transformer is calculated and contrasted by magnetic circuit method and the energy calculated by leakage magnetic field.Through the comparison and analysis of the calculation value of short circuit impedance,the validity of the MagNet finite element analysis software in the calculation of short circuit impedance is verified.Third,the electric field analysis of the longitudinal insulation between the windings,winding ends and high voltage windings of transformers is carried out,and the low voltage winding 1,the low voltage winding 2 and the winding between the high voltage winding and the end of the winding of QYD-31500/220 railway traction transformer are modeled.The ElecNet finite element analysis software is used to analyze and calculate the electric field.It is proved that the insulation structure of the transformer is reasonable.Finally,the relevant parameters of the QYD-31500/220 railway traction transformer are determined according to the design task book and the company's technology.The result of transformer load test,temperature rise test,lightning impulse test and external pressure withstand test shows that the design of leakage magnetic field and electric field of transformer is reasonable.The research of railway traction transformer QYD-31500/220 in this thesis meets the demands of railway electrification development of China and the national energy conservation policies.The project is advanced in the international and domestic leading level in the performance index and reliability,which strengthens the market competition ability of the company product.
