It is increasingly difficult for the traditional fixed-position production mode to meet the requirements of aircraft final assembly in the booming aviation industry.It is an inevitable trend to establish pulsation production lines for aircraft final assembly according to the mobile production mode of the assembly line.However,the assembly line balance optimization is an indispensable part in the design and plan of the pulsation production line for aircraft final assembly.The aircraft pulsating assembly line balancing problem is the research content in the paper.It has acquired the key technologies such as the modeling method and optimization method of the problem.An application system has been developd based on the research results.The related work is carried out from the following aspects:(1)The smoothing index,the staff number and the total assembly time are selected to be the optimization target according to the production demand of the pulsation production line for the aircraft final assembly.According to the characteristics of the aircraft pulsating assembly line such as multi-work collaborative assembly and multi-area parallel operation,the constraints of the problem is developed on the basis of the traditional assembly line balancing problem.The mathematical model of the second-type and type-E aircraft pulsating assembly line balancing problem has been established.(2)The individual decoding methods are improved according to the mathematical characteristics of the second-type and type-E aircraft pulsating assembly line balancing problem.The improved NSGA-? and hybrid optimization algorithm are respectively designed to solve the problem models.Their performance is proved to be superior to that of the past algorithms according to the optimization results of the standard cases.It is proved that the algorithm can effectively solve the aircraft pulsating assembly line balancing problem according to the analysis result of the application case.(3)An optimization system is developed based on the above research results and actual production situation,to solve aircraft pulsating assembly line balancing problem.It is testified to be effective according to the simulation results of the assembly line process.Its performance reachs the expected goals.
