Rotor system will cause vibration when running,especially under the condition of transcritical speed.These vibrations will be transmitted to the bearing and mechanical structure through the bearings,causing great harm.A new design of damping ring is put forward in this paper,which is installed between bearing and support,which can effectively reduce the vibration of transmission system passing through the shaft and bearing to support.In this paper,the basic theory of piezoelectricity,the basic characteristics of piezoelectric stacking and the technique of piezoelectric shunt damping are introduced.The piezoelectric stack is easily damaged by shear and torque,so a damper ring structure is designed to protect the piezoelectric stack.The vibration damping ring is a damping device which is coupled by a protective frame and a piezoelectric stack.The vibration damping ring is simplified as a two-dimensional mechanical model,and the complex stiffness of the vibration damping ring and the force transfer function of the vibration damping ring are derived.In view of the theoretical model,the finite element simulation of the system is further carried out to verify the effect of the padding by vibration and environmental protection.The related parameters in the vibration damping ring system are calculated by the finite element simulation.It provides the parameter basis for the optimization of the subsequent theoretical model.In this paper,the test of vibration damping ring system is designed.The frequency response curve of the force transfer rate of the piezoelectric piled capacitor and the vibration damping ring system is tested.By comparing the different circuit parameters,the optimum circuit parameters are found in this case.According to the parameters measured by the finite element and the experiment,the method of parameter optimization is studied based on the theoretical model.The influence rule of the parameters under different conditions is discussed.Both theoretical model and experiment prove that the vibration damping ring has significant damping effect,and it has important research significance.
