| Today, with the rapid development of the urbanization and motor vehicle traffic, large enclosed districts such as the industrial, commercial or residential parks in urban built-up areas have reduced density and accessibility of urban road network. These approaches not only cause the waste of district road resources, but also affect the travel efficiency of residents seriously. This paper based on field survey data, analyzed the factors of road sharing in enclosed districts by using the methods of traffic simulation,OD reversal and Braess paradox. At the same time, this paper explored formation mechanism of the surrounding road network congestion in the large enclosed districts, analyzed the length of a side threshold about the district traffic opening, and discussed the safeguarding policy of district road sharing.Collecting a large number of field vehicle speed, traffic, noise and other data of the enclosed districts and the surrounding road network, and analyzing the traffic and noise characteristics of the district(inside and outside)by using of mathematical statistics method, meanwhile, the causal relationship between the size of the district and the congestion around the district are obtained.Through the analysis on the basis of vehicle safety on the intersection road with the district road, and the minimum safe spacing model of the entrance and exit of the enclosed district is established. The VISSIM simulation method is used to analyze the number of vehicles operating and the delay during the driving process. The other conclusion that minimum side length of the road sharing in the district is 220 meters is obtained. The qualitative analys is adopted to analyze the requirements of the interior of enclosed districts, which can reach the levels of road sharing, such as the building spacing, road capacity, road network structure and so on.According to the Braess paradox, the judgment model is constructed that about the sharing of the road traffic demand.Through the field investigation of the road network traffic volume that affected by the traffic in the enclosed districts, the OD reversal matrix method is used to study the distribution of the traffic flow in the districts’ shared road, and the saturation of road network is analyzed before and after the road sharing, thus,we concluded that the shared road in the district can improve road service levels.Aiming at the instability of the traffic flow on the enclosed district road, the traffic control scheme was put forward that about the openings of road sharing-single point timing signal control for a particular phase.Aiming at the conflict between the transit traffic and the internal traffic after road sharing, the design of the shared road cross-section and the entrances and exits of the district as well as the design of traffic flow management about entrances and exits were put forward. The results obtained in this paper have improved the accessibility of residents’ travel, reduced the waste of road resources inside of the districts, and alleviated the urban traffic congestion. The urban road network advocated by the Ministry of Transportation was realized by the layout mode of "wide road-main Street-sparse road network" transit to the mode of "the narrow road-small district road network",and it reflected the concept of "people-oriented" that service for the people,as well as it has a great significance. |
