A Study On The Design Of Landscape Space Modules In Modern Community

The modern community landscape space environment has undergone certain changes due to changes in the behavioral needs of occupants such as outdoor life,communication,and activities,and has gradually been extensively studied and practiced.With the continuous development of domestic settlements,the relationship between landscape space environment and people has become the focus of research,specifically to the discussion between the landscape space environment and the needs of people in different age groups and all-weather activities,and gradually forms the “modern community landscape space design”.It is necessary to set up the concept of corresponding activity venues according to the behavior characteristics and activity needs of different age groups,that is the "ageing landscape space module".The research and practice of the full-age landscape space module in China is still at a preliminary stage.Most of the current studies focus on the elements of landscape space environment,effects,design methods,etc.,and do not pay enough attention to the needs of crowd activities in the landscape space environment.Practice projects also do not pay attention to people’s actual feelings in the community landscape space,and at the same time,they have not formed a modular system for people’s activity venues of different age groups;while in the 20 th century,the West developed and improved relevant Theory and practice do not include content that corresponds to the needs of outdoor space activities for different age groups and all weather conditions.Therefore,the paper takes the “ageing landscape spatial environment module” covering the needs of people in different age groups and outdoor landscape space as the research object,combing the landscape space modules corresponding to different age groups in the community,and focusing on the modern community.Practice the design strategy of landing.The first chapter is the introduction,which analyzes the contradiction between the limitations of modern community’s landscape space environment design and people’s actual needs of landscape environment space;Chapter 2 explains the “modern community landscape space module” and combines a large number of outstanding cases.From the aspects of accessibility,suitability and inclusiveness,the objective requirements of the full-age module in the landscape space elements were analyzed and summarized;the third chapter was from the characteristics of the site’s natural environment,the physiological and psychological characteristics of people in different age groups,and the demand for outdoor activities in the community.At each level,we explored the layout strategies of the ageing module for modern residential quarters and the strategy for creating space for activities,and explored the design of landscape space elements in the module,namely principles,paving,signage,landscapelighting,wells,plant configuration,etc.The fifth chapter is the author’s design practice for the landing of the full-age landscape space module in the Hefei Xianghe Garden Project.
