Concepts And Methods For Integration Of Multiple Evaluation Of Project Based On Social Return On Investment

With the rapid development of China's economy,more and more attention are paid to corporate social responsibility.It is a hot spot to evaluate the performance of corporate social responsibility.Project is the carrier of enterprises to implement business operation.Project evaluation can test the value creation of enterprises and reflect the performance of CSR.This paper reviews the current existing project evaluation methods,and finds that evaluation angle of those methods is single which is difficult to evaluation the comprehensive benefits of project.Based on the literature review and theoretical deduction,this study puts forward the concept of using the Social Return on Investment(SROI)method integrating the multiple evaluations of projects.The concept uses the SROI framework as the basis for the analysis.project impacts are involved in the calculation model after they are identified and quantified with the participation of Stakeholders.This paper elaborates the specific application flow of SROI analysis applied to evaluate project comprehensive benefits,and combined the key content of SROI method with the actual situation of domestic engineering projects preliminarily,which can be used for reference to apply this method to evaluate the comprehensive benefits of China's engineering projects.This paper chooses the Minghu project in Chuzhou,Anhui province to apply this method of empirical research.Through conducting questionnaires,depth interviews and field observation to include the stakeholders in,which helps to obtain the input from the stakeholders and the impact of the project on them.The process of valuing project results requires the participation of stakeholders.This study consults Tianmu Lake which is similar to Minghu project to predicte the operational data of Minghu project.The concludsion shows that the social investment return rate of MingHu project is 1.68,which means the efficiency of MingHu project is greater than the investment on it.And the empirical research proves the feasibility of applying SROI analysis method in integrating the multiple evaluation of projects in the same time.The implications for using SROI to analysis the comprehensive benefit of engineering projects includes: 1)do not Ignore the analysis process while paying much attention to the results of the analysis.The process of analysis helps people understanding the core demands of the stakeholders and find the key factors which can affect the comprehensive benefits of the project,which are the key to the successful operation of the project and the creation of the maximum value.2)the impact of the project on the surrounding environment is very obvious,and even affects the health of the surrounding residents.Therefore,those projects need to strengthen the protection of the environment.3)governments and enterprises need to strengthen in data statistics and management.
