OGFC has the benefits of high sliding resistance,low noise,preventing hydroplaning and reducing glare,which can improve traffic safety and comfort,which has obvious promotion for recovery of riding performance and anti-sliding of pavement and attracts more and more maintenance department's attention.However,even though high viscosity and performance asphalt had been added to the pavement,raveling was easily found.Therefore,high viscosit y modified asphalt and performance optimization of asphalt mixture were studied in this paper.Technical indicators of high viscosity asphalt were studied analyzed,the composition of high viscosity additives were confirmed,which consisted of SBS,waste rubber powder,tackifier,plasticizer and crosslinker.According to orthographic design method,the optimum content of each additive was fixed by the testing projects.The major physical properties of HVA and TPS were studied and compared.It was founded that the motive viscosity of SVA in excess of 150 thousand Pa·s was slightly lower HVA modified asphalt,but the toughness and tenacity and 5?ductility were higher than other two modified asphalt.RTFOT demonstrated that the aging resistance of SVA was better than HVA and TVA modified asphalt.The G~*/sin?of three modified asphalt were tested by DSR,it was seen that the G~*/sin?of SVA was biggest at all testing temperatures,and the G~*/sin?of SVA at 70?was higher than HVA and TVA respectively by 38.7%and 41.2%.According to the performance of asphalt mixture,the anti-cracking performance at low temperature and moisture stability of self-developed high viscosit y were better than others and it had a bit lower high temperature performance than TPS,but it was greater than the specification requirement.In order to enhance the resistance of the raveling,adding polyester fiber,hydrated lime and the aggregate surface modification were used in OGFC mixtures,the Cantabro loss of three schemes were 11.42%,11.77%and 11%respectively.It was necessary to combine three schemes to get better performance,and the combination of adding polyester fiber and aggregate surface modification had best anti-raveling performance,which was only 6.88%.
