With the development of supporting technologies,the application of real-time and high-resolution images is gradually increasing in artificial intelligence,civil engineering,remote sensing and other fields.The array camera is widely used to acquire high resolution images.But at the same time,the more stringent demand of transmission rate,storage speed and system's scalability is also proposed.This study aims to research and design a transmission and storage scheme based on PCI-E Peer-to-Peer transmission and SATA Array storage,which can meet the needs of high-speed data transmission and storage of industrial array camera.In this paper,four optional schemes are analyzed and their advantage and disadvantage are also summarized in detail according to system performance command.For the aim of high transmission speed,sound scalability and short development cycle,this paper designs the PCI-E Peer-to-Peer transmission and storage scheme which is comprised of PCIe Switch,USB3.0 Host,SATA Array and SoC master device.Centering on transmission and storage,this paper studied and analyzed the two serial technology,PCI-E and SATA,as well as eXtensible Host Controller Interface.The All Programmable SoC is taken as the core of the system.And the PCI-E Interface module,the address map module of PCI-E space to memory space,the firmware module of the eXtensible Host Controller(xHC),the SATA Host module and the adapter module are designed with it.Meanwhile,the partial experiments are built to test the validity of the key modules.In order to validate the system's transmission logic,storage logic and data format as well as analyze the performance of the system,this paper designed the Peer-to-Peer transmission and storage experiment of multiple cameras.The data acquisition,transmission and storage of multiple cameras was implemented successfully.The feasibility of the design and the correctness of logic function were fully demonstrated.The performance parameters were also obtained.The experiment shows that the transmission speed of a single PCIe2.0 channel can reach 370MB/s.The transmission rate of dual cameras can achieve at least 299MB/s without losing frame and SATA2.0Host has a sequence read-write speed of 250MB/s for SSD.The transmission performance achieves the anticipated goal under the current hardware condition.
