The construction of highway is very significant to the development of the country and social economy.In the various stages of the highway construction,including the design,construction and operation need for various data,these data is presented in the form of charts,statements,statistical tables and so on,as a result,it is difficult for managers to comprehensively and intuitively understand the construction process.Aiming at the development of building information modeling(BIM)in recent years,this paper proposes highway basic data modeling and application based on BIM,which can provide visualization of engineering construction management from design,schedule and other aspects.The main contents of this paper are listed as follows:(1)Three-dimensional BIM model of highway.Using highway basic data to construct the parameterized model based on the BIM,and integrate the geometrical and related construction information of the highway into the highway BIM model,Calculated the information such as earthwork of the highway,to guide the design and construction of the highway.Use the IFC standard to describe the highway model to facilitate the information for the sharing between different system software.(2)Collision processing of road scene fusion.The collision problem is an important problem that BIM needs to solve in highway construction project.The highway scene is composed of a combination of structures,such as terrain,roadbed,culverts and so on.In the case of road scenes combination,there is an overlap or dependency between these structures.If topological relation processing is not performed,collision between structures occurs.According to the spatial relationship between the highway structures,the intersection of the subgrade model and the terrain model is calculated when the geometric model is generated,improve the edge-by-edge clipping algorithm and the triangular mesh cutting algorithm based on the triangular decomposition is adopted to deal with the collision between the structures.(3)4D visualization based on highway BIM model.Creating highway construction visualization system based on the highway BIM parametric model.The system can read the BIM highway model file,using three-dimensional rendering engine OSG to achieve visual display,roaming and construction progress dynamic demonstration.
