Twin-screw extruder in the food processing,feed production,Plastic molding and other fields has been widely used.Twin-screw extrusion technology is an advanced material extrusion technology in the processing of feed and food processing areas where it has broad application prospects.Screw is an important component of the twin-screw extruder,structure and properties of materials screw extrusion process analysis and shear mixing on a twin-screw extruder has important significance.Based on the numerical simulation for research methods,in the SolidWorks software environment of twin screw extruder to establish solid model,using ICEM mesh CFD software entity model abstract model for grid,the grid provided input CFX calculation and analysis in post-processing software.Based on the different screw configuration of twin-screw extrusion machine analysis comparison,this paper design study with a neutral kneading block and reverse thread element of the new modular twin-screw extruder,with low temperature soy meal as experiment material,studies the movement rule of soybean meal within the flow channel,by comparing to common extruder screw configuration,and only with a neutral extruder screw configuration of the kneading block element.For three kinds of low temperature soy meal material in the screw configuration port along the extrusion direction on the speed of flow and perpendicular to the flow direction of the velocity vector is analyzed,and analyze the port internal macro pressure field,kneading plate between the pressure change law.The screw rotation speed of the optimal extrusion mass flow was obtained.The main conclusions of this paper include:For ordinary screw configuration of twin-screw extruder with velocity field and pressure field analysis,detailed description the movement of low temperature soybean meal in a barrel,it is concluded that under the ordinary screw configuration material velocity and pressure distribution and change rule.Provide reference for the later structural design.The addition of neutral kneading block elements,the internal retention time of the material inside the cylinder,the continuity of material flow is scattered,the mixing performance is improved,and the material is well mixed in the cylinder.Additional reverse threaded elements can be added to improve product yield.On the basis of the ordinary screw configurations at the same time adding neutral element of kneading block and reverse thread element configuration by the new screw structure,build pressure in mixed performance,performance and extruding performance has excellent performance.
