Twin-screw pumps has such characteristics as stability, no pulsation, low vibration, high efficiency,no cutting, no emulsification, self-priming performance in the process of conveying medium, is widely used in petroleum, shipbuilding, marine and other industries. At present, the end face profile of screw pumps designed by domestic is imperfect, lead to poor stability, small displacement, low efficiency of existing products, therefore it has very important theoretical significance and application value to carry out the design of twin- screw pumps profile.In this paper, firstly, for the existing profile equation complex, long-time modeling, parametric modeling complicated problems, according to the design principles and requirements of profile, Used the coordinate transformation, a easily parametric modeling, good sealing, good engagement, Ω shape symmetrical end face profile equation was built. Then the equations of conjugated line and space contact line were deduced, and the equation of each curves was obtained.Secondly, did secondary development for the three-dimensional modeling software SolidWorks Described the key technologies twin-screw pumps spiral sets parametric modeling involved, achieved three-dimensional parametric modeling of Ω shaped symmetrical spiral sets of the twin-screw pumps.Based on the interference detection tools of SolidWorks,the interference between rotors were checked,the inspection found that there was no interference between rotors.Thirdly, with ANSYS software did the modal analysis of the screw under the constraints of rigidity and elasticity, and analyzed the different stiffness of elastic element of modal analysis, the results indicated that the natural frequency of the screw under the elastic constraints significantly reduced,under two kinds of constraints modes consistent, the stiffness size of the elastic units had no effect on the natural frequency.At last, used fluid simulation software FLUENT, designed twin-screw flow channel flow field was analyzed and its pressure and velocity fields were analyzed. The results showed: the flow state within the twin-screw pump fluid flow channel in this paper and the actual flow conditions within the fluid flow path consistent.All experimental results showed that the new structure design of the profile line was feasible.
