With the rapid development of the economy and society,people's living standards have improved,and residents 'requirements for the quality of life have gradually increased.They have not only stayed at the material level,but also increased to the spiritual level.The most prominent manifestation of this spiritual demand is the emphasis on residential building planning and environment.People are paying more and more attention to the urban environment,and the environmental quality requirements for residential areas are also getting higher and higher.At the same time,they pay attention to residential buildings themselves and begin to pursue ecological residential areas and pleasant green living environments.Excellent architectural planning and environmental design is an extension of the natural landscape to the city,creating a comfortable rest and exchange space for residents.Therefore,the ability to provide suitable living planning and a good outdoor environment has become an important standard for modern people to choose housing.Therefore,more and more attention is paid to modern residential planning and environmental design.The residents 'demand for living environment has prompted the rapid development and progress of residential environment design,and it is more scientific,natural and ecological.Based on the research on the theories of international and domestic residential areas and the development process of domestic residential areas,and guided by the relevant theories and actual investigation and study of residential areas,the author selects the representative residential areas in Jinan as the research object,and systematically analyzes the current situation of gardens in residential areas in Jinan.As well as the basic features and problems of residential planning and garden design in the new period.For example,in the development and construction of residential areas,there is a phenomenon of rapid success and violation of the laws of nature,which brings many inconveniences to residents 'lives;The disappearance of the historical context,the neglect of site characteristics,the inconsistency of forms and functions,the lack of communication space,and the lack of ecological design.This paper puts forward some strategies to solve the misunderstanding of residential area planning and garden design,and provides some useful reference for residential area planning and garden design.Through a large number of visits,in-depth investigations,detailed statistical analysis,to JiNan residential planning and environmental landscape situation analysis and research,combing the research results and existing problems.This paper explores the strategies and specific design methods of landscape-style residential area planning,and puts forward the methods and development directions of residential area planning and environmental landscape design in the new period.And put forward the guidance of the development of residential environment design,which is helpful to improve the environmental quality of residential area.It helps to respect the inheritance and development of the region,natural features,history,and literary background.It provides guidelines and theoretical support for the study of residential area planning under the perspective of gardens.
