| With the rapid development of China’s urbanization process, the national enjoy economic development and improvement of living standards at the same time, because the pace of life is too fast, excessive information, work pressure and other reasons lead to prominent mental health problems of residents, especially in the post-epidemic period, there is a growing number of mental disorders and psychological behavior problems.Research shows that a good urban landscape environment can effectively relieve residents’ stress, restore the loss of directed attention in work and life, and improve residents’ physical and mental health.Residential landscape is the specific environment that residents have the most contact with and use most frequently.Based on the stress reduction theory and attention restoration theory, this paper takes residential green space as the research object, studies the mechanism and characteristics of the five senses, and explores landscape elements and design methods with stress reduction and recovery benefits from the perspective of the five senses experience.Combined with the comparative analysis of domestic and foreign cases and the post-use evaluation questionnaire survey of completed cases, the design strategy is supplemented and improved, the theoretical system is constructed, the design site is investigated on the spot, and the design practice of decompression and restoration landscape in the residential area of Hushan Dajing in Kunming City is completed. The following conclusions are drawn from the research:1.Combined with the results of research analysis and questionnaire survey, the vast majority of residents would choose to relax in the residential landscape environment under pressure, and the theory of decompression and attention recovery is applicable in the residential landscape.2.In the residential landscape design, landscape elements such as plants, waterscape, terrain and landscape sketches can be fully utilized to highlight natural ecology, create space with rich five senses experience, and enhance the relief and restoration benefits of residential landscape.Among them, ensuring sufficient green, improving plant color and community collocation, and designing open still water and sound water are all effective design methods.3.By analyzing the decompression and recovery potential and landscape expression of five functional places in the residential area, the decompression and recovery functions are implanted into the zoning design, and the targeted and diversified five-sense experience design is carried out for each functional place. The five-sense experience in the environment guides meditation and communication, which is conducive to the occurrence of psychological decompression and recovery behavior.Through the combination of environmental experience and behavior counseling, the stress reduction and restoration benefits of the site can be maximized.4.The decompression and restoration landscape of residential areas should consider the landscape perception preferences and activity needs of people with different stress and attention loss states, and provide suitable landscape space and activity place for each group of people by combining low-pressure,medium-pressure and high-pressure restoration space,so as to ensure the comprehensive benefits of decompression and restoration of landscape environment. This study focuses on the mental health of residents, studies the design methods of decompression and restoration landscape in residential areas, and puts forward several design strategies to improve the efficiency of decompression and restoration of residential areas, including using landscape elements such as plants, water and terrain to highlight natural ecology, create rich space with five senses, and give full consideration to the physiological and psychological needs of residents. In each functional place, residents with different stress and directed attention loss conditions are provided with necessary activity space. |
