Research on complex has penetrated into all fields.It digs the potential of internal data and provides a new thought for scientific research,that widely regarded as the new scientist in 21 st century.However,complex is not enough to analysis traffic flow in the traffic field.As a metric random variables and uncertain complexity measure theory,entropy can be referenced to the traffic chaos system and as a novel method to excavate the flow motion in the potential chaos phenomenon.There are two kinds of uncertainty in the traffic system,one is related to the probability of occurrence,and the other is related to the degree of the occurrence of a certain characteristic.The main idea of this paper is to use entropy method to quantify these two kinds of uncertainty and determine their applicability.By the concept of complexity for traffic system,chaos characteristic and complexity of transportation system are described: the complexity of quantitatively indicates that the size of the random component in the transportation system.Through improved model: analysis of approximate entropy,sample entropy and fuzzy entropy,and puts forward the fuzzy entropy measure to analyze the model of traffic flow Using fuzzy entropy to analyze the complex system of traffic flow.The date was got by actual measurement from city roads and toll station.Through calculation and compared with other methods,the fuzzy entropy measure method has the advantages of not high data length,good parameter sensitivity,strong pertinence and adjustable model.It is an excellent model for analysis of complexity.This paper introduced the application of the complexity for traffic flow analysis.Using VISSIM software to simulate the traffic flow in the intersection area.Proposed to calculate the difference of velocity which as a sample sequence.Using the fuzzy entropy analysis of traffic flow under different conditions of speed difference sequence,that concluded the signal traffic control method for flow boundary condition.It shows a good consistency consistency with the current specification,also shows that the traffic control strategy and the complexity of traffic flow has closely related properties.
