Performance Evaluation Of High Content Rubber Modified Asphalt And Mixture Design Technology

The eighteen Party Congress promoted the construction of ecological civilization to a strategic level,the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in the construction of ecological civilization was put forward clear requirements,and be incorporated into the overall layout of the socialist modernization construction.High content of rubber modified asphalt is a new building material which responses to the policy of the party,not only can recycle the waste tire,reducing pressure on the natural environment,but also can effectively improve the performance of asphalt pavement,shoot two hawks with one arrow,has a strong use value.The content of this paper is mainly divided into four parts: the first part briefly introduces three kinds of modification mechanism of rubber powder on the asphalt,discuss the mechanism and preparation method of high content rubber modified asphalt;through the penetration,ductility,softening point,viscosity,elastic recovery and other technical indicators,this part analysis and compares the performances of 20% volume of rubber the conventional modified asphalt、SBS modified asphalt、high content of rubber modified asphalt;The second part refers to SAC and SMA,designing the high content of rubber modified asphalt mixture and Marshall test,compared with the performances of the conventional rubber modified asphalt,SBS modified asphalt mixture in three aspects(high and low temperature performance and water stability);The third part organizing the 35% and 50% rubber modified asphalt mixture dynamic modulus test,analyzing the dynamic modulus of the mixture from two aspects(loading frequency and temperature),and the dynamic modulus master curve is obtained.The fourth part researches high content of rubber modified asphalt mixture through four-point fatigue test,getting the fatigue equation and draw the curve,compared with SBS modified asphalt,70# asphalt mixture,adding 20% rubber asphalt mixture modified comparison.Through a series of tests,we can find that the performance of high content rubber modified asphalt mixture is good,especially the abilities of anti-fatigue and low temperature,but also existing the problems of high viscosity and the hard construction,it is worth further research.
