Rubber for high-grade highway asphalt concrete pavement can reduce environmental pollution in a black; white pollution, enhance the stability of high temperature; low temperature anti-cracking; sliding resistance; anti-slide. Powder particles can also absorb light, has the benefit for the eye. Co-modified asphalt mixture is also good anti-high-temperature, anti-aging performance; lexibility; lower noise; delay reflection cracking, thinning the thickness of the road, to resist heavy traffic and bad weather that affected the performance.Rubber and rubber powder co-modified asphalt mixture ensure that the ability to wheel tracking at high- temperature, at the same time take into account the needs of low temperature anti-cracking performance, at the adaption design should be appropriate to reduce the nominal size of the largest in the vicinity of coarse aggregate amount, and reduce some of the amount of the fine at the below of 0.6mm, so that more medium-size aggregate, To form S-shaped grading curve, and take the middle or high levels for the design void rate. However, S-crowded embedded gradation,"Asphalt Pavement Construction Technology Standard" is no clear way to identify and design. We have a lot of test research and the application of the road, to determine the definition of the S-crowded embedded gradation. Test used in the type of grading is AC10-C.In this paper, rubber powder modified mechanism and modified asphalt mixture adaption design, studied the rubber powder and rubber powder co-modified asphalt mixture performance. Through Marshall testing, wheel track testing, the Marshall soaking fore and after testing, freezing and thawing split test, bending test to prove that the addition of the rubber powder and rubber powder co-modified can raise the stability of high temperature and low temperature anti-cracking. Trial lots was selected the city of Shaoyang trunk main roads, through Trial lots extraction test, conducting a comprehensive evaluation for the rubber powder and rubber powder co-modified asphalt, and basically reflects the laboratory test results.In this paper, combining rubber and rubber powder co-modified asphalt production characteristics, developing a set of co-modified asphalt production equipment.
