Technical Strategies And Expression In Designing Elevated Pedestrian Corridors

As important connecting elements,the elevated pedestrian corridors between buildings fully reveal the importance of structural technologies to its own authenticity expression and ultimately reflect the overall image of the buildings.Focusing on structural technologies,the paper studies the relationship between force and form of the elevated pedestrian corridors and visual performance.This paper takes the elevated pedestrian corridors between buildings as the research object and uses technical logic and space expression as the two main lines.It discusses the elevated pedestrian corridors from three aspects in turn and sorts out the technical strategies and spatial expression methods of the elevated pedestrian corridors: First of all,from the logical relationship between the structural system of the elevated pedestrian corridors and the structural members,this paper summarizes the structural form expansion strategies of the elevated pedestrian corridors.Secondly,from the form of the structural members and the relationship between members,it clarifies the mechanism of the spatial phenomenon of elevated pedestrian corridors and explores the relationship between structural techniques and spatial expression.Finally,through the project of the elevated pedestrian corridor of Nanjing Newspaper Creative Park,the rational logics and spatial qualities of the structural technologies are expressed,and the related technical logics and strategies are applied specifically.
