In the power system substation,the DC system is the most important system for supplying power to various equipments in the substation.The opening and closing operation of circuit breaker,relay protection,automation devices,and emergency power supply all rely on the power supply of the DC system.What’s more,the battery pack is the most essential part of the DC system.When the substation is completely stopped,the AC input of the DC system disappears,the charging module stops operating,and only the battery pack can provide DC power to equipments.In order to ensure the reliable operation of the protection equipment in the station and thus the safety of the power grid,the reliability of the battery operation is particularly important.Therefore,it is necessary to know the running conditions of the substation battery pack in time and carry out real-time remote monitoring of battery pack.Most of the current remote monitoring devices in DC system can only collect a small amount of important alarm information of the DC equipment in real time operation,such as AC power failure,charging module failure,fuse blow,bus voltage abnormality,battery pack/battery cell voltage owing.Pressure,system ground fault,monitoring unit fault,etc.,but to some important information such as battery temperature and internal resistance cannot be collected by the devices,and due to the limitation of protocol conversion,the integrated monitoring unit cannot send more real-time data to the device information for system maintenance personnel to remote monitoring and maintenance.This paper discusses the composition of the DC power supply system,and analyzes the operation and maintenance management current situation of the substation battery in the jurisdiction of Maoming Power Supply Bureau.The battery patrol inspection module is used to conduct comprehensive and real-time monitoring of the battery,and the comprehensive monitoring module monitors the DC system status.According to the research on discriminant and control functions,selection and conversion of device communication protocols,remote control of intelligent control and remote maintenance systems,and this paper proposes not only an integrated battery internal resistance,battery terminal voltage,battery connection strip voltage drop,Battery operating environment temperature,battery charge and discharge data,etc.,which can effectively judge the operating state of the battery pack,and can remotely control,maintain and test the remote monitoring system,but also designs the structure,function,networking scheme and signal of the system to send the program,research and analyze the application of its remote monitoring function.The system can remotely monitor the status of the substation battery in real time,and it is convenient for operation and maintenance personnel to remotely query real-time data and historical data,analyze data and complete control,maintenance and test work.Through practice verification,it can be proved that the system can provide early warning when the battery is abnormal or faulty,which can provide more accurate and effective decision support information for the operation and maintenance personnel.The system can reduce the workload of substation battery detection and maintenance effectively.and improve the efficiency of fault handling.At the same time,it also guarantees the safety,stability and economy of the power grid operation of Maoming Power Supply Bureau.
