Our country's economy is in a stage of rapid development,the power system is the lifeline of the national economy,so electrical equipment's normal work is directly related to the safe operation of the power system.With the emergence of high voltage,large generating units and large power grid,the reliability of power equipment is more and more high.In order to ensure stable and reliable operation of power equipment,better methods to accurate diagnosis and maintenance of distribution lines are very needed.Distribution network maintenance is based on the state monitoring and fault diagnosis,it has massive data.It is necessary to establish the corresponding decision support system in order improve equipment operation stability.In this paper the author,first of all,embarks from the present situation and development of condition-based maintenance of distribution line and infrared technology,discusses the selection of infrared equipment,data acquisition methods and the principle of infrared detection technology combined with his own work experience.At the same time the author designs and establishes a set of auxiliary decision system for distribution line condition maintenance based on B/S structure.System can classify management of distribution lines and equipment;it can analyze the infrared data and form the infrared report;it can display the data curve of temperature measurement in different periods and provide historical data comparison and analysis;it can analyze the status of the equipment by data analysis;it can draw the conclusion according by the infrared temperature standard;it includes management functions of user and system log.And the system is applied in the island power grid.The infrared detection technology has obvious advantages in the diagnosis and maintenance of the transformer.Auxiliary decision system preliminary has established the database of distribution line equipment's Infrared data for Shengsi power supply company.The maintenance time and measures can be determined by using the analysis report of auxiliary decision system,therefore,the preventive maintenance of power equipment is improved to the predictive state.It is because of the good application of the system,it can reduce the outage time and the probability of accidents and ensure the normal operation of power supply system.
