Bus lanes allow public transport vehicles to have certain road space priority rights,buses run on bus lanes are affected by bus stops or traffic lights,easily formed in the form of driving the bus fleet,and the control signal does not take into account the traffic demand of the bus fleet,the bus fleet in continuous the intersection to be truncated,cause the rear vehicle delay.Therefore,starting from the driving characteristics of the bus fleet,the feasibility of setting the priority signal is analyzed,and the intersection signal control method considering the demand of the bus fleet is put forward,which is of great significance for improving the utilization of green light and improving the traffic efficiency of the intersection bus.By analyzing the driving characteristics of buses on dedicated lanes,in-depth analysis of the formation and dispersion of bus fleets and establishing the discrete model and aggregation model of the bus fleet,analyzes the influence of light length,bus speed and running state of the bus station.A detailed analysis is made on the discrete phenomenon of the bus fleet during the driving process and the aggregation phenomenon when the fleet meets the red light and stops at the site.Based on the basic principle of traffic signal control and the bus priority signal control method,three basic principles are put forward to reflect the bus priority.Will reflect the operating characteristics of the bus fleet process to control signal timing and optimization methods are proposed based on the control signal of the bus fleet,driving through forecasting and adjusting state of the vehicle,the bus fleet vehicles as much as possible through the intersection in signal green time.After that,a signal coordination and optimization method between two adjacent intersections is proposed based on the principle of trunk coordination control.Based on field survey data,a simulation model is established in simulation software,which verifies the applicability and feasibility of signal control method,and analyzes the improvement effect of intersection traffic operation efficiency.The model of the bus fleet proposed in this paper can well show the characteristics of the bus running on the special road.Through the analysis of the simulation results,the single point cross message control method based on the bus fleet can reduce the number of parking and truncated vehicles.Optimization and coordination between the adjacent intersection signal control method can make the bus stop at the intersection between the two,in order to achieve a certain bus priority.Buses pass in the form of motorcade in the signal intersection,and improve the utilization of green light signals.The efficiency of the intersection system is improved accordingly.Giving priority to the signal of the bus will make the bus get a better traffic environment on the dedicated lane,and further contribute to the construction of the urban public transport system.
