According to<transportation“12th 5years”development plan>,in 12th 5years period,it will speed up the transportation junction construction.In the future 10 years,there will be 7395km new metro line,which cost more than RMB 1000 billion.Till 2020,there will be 177 metro lines in 33 cities.The driving braking control is the key technology in the metro train,developing of the driving braking control has the significance:improving the driving braking performance,assuring the passenger conformability,optimizing the driving braking force distribution,using the electrical dynamic brake as far as possible,reducing the energy consumption,and brake disk pollution,etc.The document describes the metro train driving and braking system design.The whole design lasts about 1 and half years,which covers the whole design process.It includes the concept design(high-voltage main circuit concept design,train network structure design,driving braking concept design),system performance simulation,detailed functional description(including driving braking interface,driving braking set-point,driving braking force distribution,electrical brake to zero,blending brake control,etc),software programming in the vehicle control unit and train type test on the line.Till now the driving braking system has been in passenger operation,and works well.It shows that the high integrated high voltage box design solution ensures the safety high voltage input to the traction container.Distributed traction container arrangement provides the high efficient driving braking performance.Driving braking commands are transmitted both by MVB and hardwired circuit,which ensures even the MVB is failure,the train can be in emergency drive mode and continue to run.Only the electric brake can meet the whole brake demand in all of the passenger load conditions.The electrical brake to zero speed technology ensures the trains conformability and energy saving.When the electrical brake to zero is not available,the blending brake function can meet the train stop accuracy requirement.The design reflects the newest international technology,it is proved in the passenger service,and it is recommended to be adopted in the cities in China.
