Hybrid excitation drive motor is the effective combination of the electromagnetic and permanent magnet,has the advantage of high efficiency the of permanent-magnet motor,and better adjustable magnetic properties of the electrical excitation motor,realized the energy saving and broaden the speed range and constant power region.It's becoming one of the important selection of electric vehicle drive motor.Through analysising the demand characteristics of the drive motor and combining with matching goal,the matching method of the hybrid excitation drive motor was proposed.And then by matching calculation get the basic parameters of the hybrid excitation drive motor.Analysising the structure types and working of HESM,a claw pole electromagnetic and interior permanent magnet parallel form of hybrid excitation drive motor was presented.According to the basic parameters and the design method of the PMSM and the electrically excited drive motor,the parameters of claw pole electromagnetic rotor and the interior permanent magnet rotor were designed and calculated,thereby got the size of the rotor 3phases,8poles,36 slots fractional-slot winding stator parameters were calculated and the form of winding wire determined.Eventually,the electromagnetic and interior permanent magnetic hybrid excitation drive motor was designed completly.Using the finite element software simulated the magnetic field of the hybrid excitation drive motor and verified the reasonable of designing from the motor of the magnetic field intensity and distribution,cogging torque,back EMF waveform and gas gap magnetic.Using the method of magnetic thermal one-way coupling simulated the temperature field of the motor under different load,and concluded that the temperature rise of the motor is in accordance with the design requirements.A control method based on electric vehicle of motor is presented according to the driving conditions,including starting and low speed condition,high torque operating conditions,driving conditions,driving conditions of cruise speed.Using Simulink software simulated start response and the output response of the motor when the excitation current is changed.It drawed that the motor has a better speed and torque response,and the design of the motor meets the requirements.
