Hybrid vehicle has the advantages of saving energy and reducing emissions compared to conventional vehicles, BSG (Belt Driven Starter Generator) hybrid vehicles is getting more and more attention due to its little change to the original car and low cost. HESM(Hybrid Excitation Synchronous Machine) is used as BSG motor with its better torque properties than permanent magnet synchronous motor and excited synchronous motor, so it is of great significance to research HESM drive system.In this dissertation, through deeply analyzing the mathematical model of HESM, vector control strategies and SVPWM technique, the HESM drive scheme was proposed. The simulation model of HESM drive system was built under the MATLAB/Simulink environment, the two situations that HESM at under and over base speed were simulated, the simulation results verified the effectiveness of the HESM drive scheme. In this dissertation, the hardware structures and software program were designed with TMS320F2812 as their core, and the mainly hardware circiuts and software folw were detailed introduced. Finally, through HESM controller's bench experiments, the relationship curve that HESM's maximum torque at different speeds with different excitation currents under motor mode and the relationship curve that HESM line voltage at different speed under generator mode were obtained, which verified the reasonableness of the HESM drive system.
