As the major orientation of energy-saving research, hybrid vehicle can reduce the exhaust emissions of vehicle and raise operating factor of gas, and it can also keep the dynamic property of entire car. It is significant to have an intensive study of motor and its control system because as an important component part of hybrid vehicle, motor and its control system can influence the dynamic property and operating factor of gas.By explain the transformation of Clark and Park coordinates, and on the basis of analyzing mathematical model of Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) system and studying the vector control method, This paper present a novel PMSM current control strategic and close-loop control system program, and it also explained the basic theory of space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM). After that, the simulation model of PMSM and its control system are established with MATLAB/Simulink, in which the motor was controlled by a PI speed loop system. The hardware and software of PMSM which was based on DSP2812 is presented after the simulation was finished, and the detail design method of PMSP drive system, DSP controller, sampling and analyzing method of current of stator, position detect and protection circuit, software strategies of PMSM drive system are given. After that, the experiment platform of hybrid vehicle has been set up, and the embedded system based on DSP2812 has also been programmed to perform the experiment, the data and waveforms of it are given to confirm the analysis.
