Study And Optimization On Retarding Mechanism Of EPS With Electric Forklift

The thesis explains working features of electric forklift and working principles of EPS.Through characteristics analysis on different types of EPS,program of electric forklift EPS system was ultimately determined,and retarding mechanism of power steering system has been optimized.The select of retarding mechanism and parameter design are in accordance with the requirements for EPS system of electric forklift.According to the need of design of worm gear and worm reducer mechanism,at the center of the worm gear and worm drive torque is set to a minimum as objective function.After analysis of retarding mechanism of the constraint condition,use the MATLAB optimization toolbox to optimize,determine the parameters of the worm gear and worm reducer transmission mechanism.Use Pro/e 3 d graphics software by the optimized parameter value to create 3 d model of worm gear and worm reducer mechanism,and import it into the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench,grid refinement on the contact points of the worm gear and worm,after applying 1.85 N to set boundary conditions and loads,eventually the stress nephogram distribution is obtained.Through analysis,it concludes that worm gear and worm reducer mechanism meets the requirements from the aspects of the deformation and stress,which proves the rationalization of the design.Although this paper on the worm gear mechanism has carried on the detailed design and optimization analysis,but there is still a lot of work to do,such as simulation of worm gear,rational design and optimization of other body parts and the worm gear mechanism design and analysis of control strategy,further strengthen the design,coordination in many aspects,to complete the manufacture of the prototype as soon as possible.Through the actual processing of manufacturing to verify and optimize the design,apply it into finished product and serve the society.
