Hybrid excitation generator has the properties of large specific power,high efficiency and operation reliability of the permanent magnet generator,also can adjust magnetic as electrical excitation generator.While multiphase motor with small torque ripple,less harmonics and free design degrees,is widely used in low voltage high power and high reliability requirement application.With the combination of hybrid excitation generator and multiphase generator theory,five-phase excitation generator design is proposed According to the magnetic circuit structure of the five-phase hybrid excitation generator.A simplified equivalent magnetic circuit model is established,and a analytic expression of the air gap flux density is derived.The Flourier expression of harmonic five phase winding magneto motive force is derived,the relationship of harmonic winding magneto motive force,space harmonic and time harmonic is quantitatively analyzed.Tangential permanent magnet and claw pole excitation rotor is designed;these two structure parameters are calculated and optimized.Five-phase stator winding and main size parameters are designed.The finite element numeric calculation of the generator electromagnetic field is performed,and 2D and 3D modeling and simulation is performed with finite element software.The feasibility of generator structure design is verified by the chart of magnetic force lines,magnetic flux density vector and magnetic flux density.The air-gap flux density curve of permanent magnet and winding excitation is analyzed,and the adjustment property of five-phase hybrid excitation generator is verified.Based on TMS320F2812,five-phase hybrid excitation generator voltage regulator control system is established,and the control system hardware is design.After the control system simulation is performed with MATLAB7.0,the relationship between generator excitation current and output voltage is gained under different operation states of the generator,which verifies voltage regulation property of excitation current.Simulation figures show that under different speed and power situation,voltage ranges around 41.4 V?42.6 V,and the design requirements are reached by the results.
