Since the reform and opening up,China's rapid urbanization process has brought about a miracle of sustained economic growth. On the other hand,it has also destroyed the ecological balance within the city.In particular, mega cities with regional population and resource agglomeration effects have produced a series of "big city diseases" such as air pollution, traffic congestion, mental sub-health,and epidemic outbreaks. In this context,WHO has introduced domestic "health".The "city" concept embodies the city residents' longing for a better life in the transition period and becomes a feasible way to solve the urban problems. This paper takes the Nanjing Qinglong District as an example to construct a theoretical framework for the planning of a healthy city in a new metropolitan area.Based on the analysis of health impact factors and residents' health needs, this study focuses on effective planning strategies to promote the healthy life of residents. The research is based on the "theory of construction-empirical research" approach, first summed up the urban health ideas contained in different periods of urban planning theory, summed up the development history and construction experience of healthy cities at home and abroad, and analyzed the concept of health,The health city planning framework of "Health Needs Analysis—Health Objectives—Planning Strategy" was put forward, defining the objects, goals, principles, and planning contents of healthy city planning, and initially constructing a theoretical system for planning of healthy cities in new urban areas.Based on this research topic, this article uses the Nanjing Qinglong District as an example to conduct empirical research.Based on the investigation, analysis and evaluation of the healthy and objective environment and subjective needs in the area, the authors propose a comfortable and healthy natural environment, and reshape the urban function to guide health.Five strategies for developing and shaping organic and refined quality space, promoting low-carbon transportation and convenient travel, and providing a healthy lifestyle and services.Theoretical studies have found that:1)The natural environment, built environment, economic culture, and social relations are the major influencing factors for the health of the residents in the new urban areas. The early industrialization of the suburbs in the new area led to serious damage to the natural ecological environment, and the scale of urban construction was often large.Suitable for walking and cycling, resulting in frequent reliance on private transportation.Public spaces are often symbolic and commemorative. They lack health considerations and theme interests and are unable to meet the new,future-oriented health needs of urban emerging middle-class groups(intelligent facilities, intergenerational communication, etc.),At the same time, there is a lack of adequate special service care for the elderly and vulnerable groups;2)Through the setting of a limited health goal system, the full-scale planning content framework covering the macro-Medical and microscopic planning paths has a certain degree of Pragmatic, universal promotion significance.Empirical research suggests that:1)Applying quantitative analysis methods such as GIS,CFD,and spatial behavior records to conduct environmental simulations is an effective attempt to analyze objective physical environment unhealthy factors;applying qualitative research methods such as questionnaire surveys, interviews, and space observations is to obtain new health needs of residents The effective means;2)that the restoration of the natural environment of healthy background, promote healthy diet, shape the theme of a healthy leisure space, guide physical travel, provide health services for the whole age is the effective path of the new area of space health reproduction. The whole thesis contains about 45 500 words,90 pictures and charts.
